FLS SENIOR BOUND FOR U.S. MILITARY ACADEMY AT WEST POINT
Tristana Sophia Tiro, class of 2025, has accepted her appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point, Class of 2029. Tristana received her nomination for said appointment from United States Congressman Lance Gooden (TX-D5). Tristana is looking forward to tackling the ‘Beast’ (basic training) and being part of the ‘long grey line.’
FLS SENIOR NAMED NATIONAL MERIT FINALIST
Julia Voicu, class of 2025, has been named a 2025 National Merit Finalist. This tremendous honor places her among the top 1% of all high school seniors in the U.S. We applaud Julia for her tireless dedication to her studies during her years at FLS!
FLS SENIOR SELECTED FOR ART INTERNSHIP
Ella Rivers, class of 2025 is a gifted artist who has been selected to intern under Lutheran and liturgical artist Edward Riojas in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She will spend next year studying wood-carving, metal-working, stained glass design, parament design, calligraphy, serigraphy, and church design.
